Video of fashion shoot..

I had asked Danielle Robinson on fashion if I would be able to take videos of the fashion shoot to put into my Cubed animation for the window and she said yes!

So I took quite a few videos of each garment and different angles, shots and also photographs to make a combination of the two in the animation.

I am quite happy with how this section of the animation is going, however it does need to be more precise and on time with the music and also add some type to the animation possibly.

Development of Cubed Posters

This is one of my favourites due to the colour. I do really like the designs in black and white however I do think one of the posters needs to have a bold colour and the other two have a hint of that colour.

Pattern for Cubed..

I really like this pattern! I think this will look really sweet in the inside of the promotional material etc. I also want to apply this kind of pattern to the poster.

Gift Card Development..

 Initial idea for the gift card is the application of the pattern onto the standard shape for gift cards within the shop.

I could then create a variety of gift cards with the various patterns created from the cubed patterns.

The gift card itself wants to be simplistic as to stand out against the others within the shop and also the busy packaging behind it.

 Different ideas for the packaging of the gift card. This gift card package would come out as a cube itself. Which I'm not certain on how this would work.

This is another idea, this folds into a square which would look pretty cool, and also give people a bit of excitement opening it.

This is another idea of  which my young sister gave me the idea of having something which had the cube on the back and folded into it. Which is pretty cool too.

Another section of the animation..

What I want to do is create all the sections separately so I therefore know if they fit alongside the section of the music it is assigned. Also through doing it separately I can then make the cube spin and work with the music and section before editing the full piece and messing other sections up.

More tag ideas.. 

I am still uncertain on the tag I need to keep editing and playing around with it.

Maybe I could have a full cube?
Or have the centre of the cube cut out and reveal something behind it to make it actually 3D?

Tag ideas..

 I want to come up with a fresh idea for a tag, yet keep it in sync with the concept of cubed. For this design I used a visual from the pattern design however I am not too sure about this..

I dont think its going to work having a longer tag as it isnt really relevant unless it would work alongside a cube of somesort.

 I quite like the shiney cube against the white matt paper, looks higher end, and slightly more expensive.

A fold out tag isnt really functional as it doesnt stay folded it opens when hung therefore the cube is actually the last thing that is seen.

More pattern ideas..

I wanted to play around further with some more ideas for patterns playing around with the cube, and see how far I could push it.

I do really like the pattern where the cube doesn't quite fit together and also the one with sections missing.

What I wanted to do for the cubed printed media is create a pattern/ visuals for different products and make it look more desirable and eye catching for someone to pick it up. Yet still keeping modern/minimalist..

I quite like this pattern from using opposing sides of the cube creates a pattern which messes with your eyes yet still looks sophisticated  . 

I don't think this pattern is as obvious that it has been made from the vertices of the cube, however it would look nice alongside the other pattern as a contrast/ another design applied to create a range.

The Start of final animation..

I have to create each section separately to make sure that it fits within the music and also the cube spins in sync with the music.

I want to create a build up of a night out kind of thing. As it is aimed at a winter/party season collection I want this to be reflected in the animation.

Using the music I want to use I have worked out the timings and different scenes and when they have to change and also how they will work and what they will be..

These storyboards clearly show my layout for the animation and each different shot/video lasts on average 4 seconds due to the 4/4 music.

I have arranged with a model to shoot the main section of the video over easter and I have already shot each of the sections such as the blurred start and also the smoking and creamfields/ibiza videos I collected in summer.

 Along with creating a digital advertisement for the new range launch in Topshop I have also got to think about the printed matter that would be needed to set up a range. Such as:

-tags
-bags
-labels
-hangers
-receipts
-gift cards
-vouchers
-packaging of the vouchers/gift cards

all of which I want to do.
