Web Leaderboard -

So I heard from marketing that they want a design for a leaderboard for Creative Review.

All the leaderboards on Creative Review are gif files and flick through different information that needs to be shown.

Therefore for the web leaderboard for the end of year show I need to show/say:

 - Revealed
- Date and Time
- Photographs

So now I need to think about how I am going to display the information.

 Idea for the end of year show..

I could fold over the corner of the flat invite then scan it back in and print it like this so even though it is flat it doesn't look it.

Also information could be written in the corner and have the image on the front so they fold is covering the face of the picture.

Bag could be a good idea for both the end of year show and the prospectus. Both these would benefit from a bag as to hold other things given to the public when attending the end of year show and to carry the prospectus in.

Easter Evaluation:

Brief 1 - Fashion Branding: Printed material done, need to photograph this. Then the animation is nearly there I need to video the model in the studio doing a few poses, make them black and white and fit into the sequence. 

Brief 2 - Fashion Yearbook: We have received the initial images giving us an idea of their collection, we have the information and the structure is ready. We need to now work with the other fashion team to create a theme or a link between the book and cover designs. Also need to finalise the layouts of all the students.

Brief 3 - Multiple Identities: 

Allanah - Need to stamp the business cards and letterhead, then create tags for the artwork and also packaging to send out prints. 

Hebe - Send them the finalised high res designs, then create a PDF of all work

All Too Human - Finalise with Tony his preferred designs and create the logo and CD artwork

Brief 4 - EchoWire: using the final logo create designs for the Vinyls, and packaging, create poster design and make up the business cards.

Brief 5 - Waven: Create designs for t-shirt range, then upload ideas for packaging, tags, labels. 

Brief 6 - End of Year Show: Photo shoot on wednesday to get final photographs for designs, these then need to replace existing photographs. Then create web button and banner also the magazine inserts. Take my designs to Chloe and Fred to talk through them and all done for next Monday. 

Brief 7 - Design Context Book: Gather more content and also send out the questionaires I have made for studios, then think about structure/format of the book. 

These are more of the kind of photography I am looking for. 

Bright coloured backgrounds and portraits of creatives from the college

I quite like the yellow backdrop, however I will have to test yellow with what the type would look like over it as yellow & white aren't always the best combination to be easily read if you are passing the promotion quickly.

This is the kind of cropping I am looking to use for the posters, not too close and with the over laying type it will show the students clothing and hair, making the reader interested in what the student looks like.

End of year show ideas..

 I want to think initially about the photoshoot, as I need to think about the different photographs I would need to have for each of the different medias.

Also how the photographs (if no the same image) all work together and as a set with all other material.

Also the type. As the design for the word 'revealed' is generally a landscape shape how is this going to work within the constraints of the webs button etc which are sqaure format.

 Finishes - if there is room within the budget what would best suit the design and enhance it to make such things as the private invitation look high quality and something they need to come and see.

Application of the type onto the photographs - I need to think about all the different scales/shapes and what visually look right regarding the type sizes, what is also legible to those whom may not read easily etc think of every person within the target audience and adapt the design.

Photograph Ideas for End of Year Show..

I don't want the portraits to be as close up as this however I do like the clarity. 

I also want to have brightly coloured backgrounds to make the photographs eye catching.

 I quite like this image on the left as the angle of the face would work really well with the overlay of the box with the text in yet show enough of the face.

However maybe in the photos for the end of year show have the portraits less close up.

Ideas for the invites..

I really like this idea of maybe having a high end, luxury feel on the front of the invite then the photograph on the back?

I would have to see if this would work..
