More Ideas for Fashion Yearbook Cover..

I really like this as our idea is cutting, this sort of style would look really effective and the minimal use of colour.

Idea for fashion yearbook cover..

We could design the front cover with the names of the students on the front, fashion & design and the year then overlay a colour over the top.

More ideas for the fashion yearbook..

Gemma liked the idea of breaking glass and cutting for the yearbook however I am unsure about cutting the text as it doesn't look very proffessional I dont think.. So these images gave me other ideas, such as cutting the number of the page or something other than the copy. Then other ideas such as cutting the words of the side of the page and carrying it on on the other side, subtle ways of using the concept of breaking glass.

Easter Evaluation:

Brief 1 - Fashion Branding: Printed material done, need to photograph this. Then the animation is nearly there I need to video the model in the studio doing a few poses, make them black and white and fit into the sequence.

Brief 2 - Fashion Yearbook: We have received the initial images giving us an idea of their collection, we have the information and the structure is ready. We need to now work with the other fashion team to create a theme or a link between the book and cover designs. Also need to finalise the layouts of all the students.

Brief 3 - Multiple Identities:

Allanah - Need to stamp the business cards and letterhead, then create tags for the artwork and also packaging to send out prints.

Hebe - Send them the finalised high res designs, then create a PDF of all work

All Too Human - Finalise with Tony his preferred designs and create the logo and CD artwork

Brief 4 - EchoWire: using the final logo create designs for the Vinyls, and packaging, create poster design and make up the business cards.

Brief 5 - Waven: Create designs for t-shirt range, then upload ideas for packaging, tags, labels.

Brief 6 - End of Year Show: Photo shoot on wednesday to get final photographs for designs, these then need to replace existing photographs. Then create web button and banner also the magazine inserts. Take my designs to Chloe and Fred to talk through them and all done for next Monday.

Brief 7 - Design Context Book: Gather more content and also send out the questionaires I have made for studios, then think about structure/format of the book.

More visual ideas for fashion yearbook..

Visual ideas for the fashion yearbook theme..

Gemma really liked the slick lines and cut straight edge proposal we came up with, as without us actually knowing this it works well with their final show theme which is broken glass, and breaking through which is sweet.. These are the kinds of things I see inspiring our designs through the book. And when we have seen the images from the students and have got a feel for their work we can then play around with colours.

Ideas for fashion yearbook

I like the small font along the top of the page and also along the bottom with the space enough for the images and also the 50 word statement from the student.

Our Polite Society - An amsterdam based graphic design studio, I love their work! Very much type based designs, simplistic but has strong concepts behind the designs.

A fashion blog which includes various different variations and inspiration relating to fashion.

Morey Talmor
- A graphic designer orinigally from Israel now working in New York.

I love the range of products he has made for the one brief. He has used the design idea to promote the museum then applied it to multiple products which promotes the museum. This is the kind of thing I want to do both within my first brief and also within the fashion book brief.

I really like the use of type with a pattern I think although quite simple is really effective to catch your eye and attract you to it.

 Fashion yearbook layout ideas.

We could have the name of each person down the edge of the page leaving the rest of the double page left for the photographs.
