Meeting with Gemma..
On meeting with Gemma we took the mock book to show her the layout and structure we had chosen to go for. We also have printed our grid and the layout we intended to use once the students had given us their images.
The feedback we got was:
- Didn't like the picture on the front, she would like the cover plain.
- She liked Ellis's idea of extending the letters off the page.
- Liked that we were using the idea of cutting like broken glass as this is what they are doing in their end of year show
- Would like to use the idea of having photographs of peoples work on the inside cover.
In the meeting Becky also came up with the idea of on the breaker spreads having the image of the student who is going to be in that section.
Overall it was a really good meeting, we are now all going away to develop the ideas and meeting back up on friday to create the final design ready for the images coming to us on Monday.
Then from monday working on the layout and student pages with their final images.
