Option to edit the colours..

The idea of editing the colours is due to the fact that two very different styles of photographs would have to work together at the front of college - the portraits are bold and bright whereas the workshop photographs will not be as brightly coloured..

I'm not really a fan of changing the colours too much..

 Black and white would work with having a bright coloured font over the top on both types of photographs

This is the original colour photograph and below I have edited the opacity of the photograph to make it a little bit lighter.

Making the photograph a little lighter makes the type stand out on it. And really the type needs to stand out more than the photograph to inform the public of what it is promoting.

On talking with Fred he suggested maybe choosing a colour to overlay the images so that the type stands out more and the image is a second factor. However I am not a fan of these two colours I have chosen.

Also marketing were not a fan of the overlay.
